I’m back
06.02.09
It’s official, I’m back and I’m back as a Certified Orthopedic and Sports Massage Therapist….ahhh, it’s over. What did it take? 2.5 years of classes, 3.5 months of studying and 2 days of intense testing - hands on, written, muscle building and case study presentation. My brain was never so exhausted. This was a goal of mine since I before I started school at BCMT and now it has been accomplished. Here’s the current wall of fame, thanks BJ for framing and hanging.
Finished up Saturday night and headed down to PSG for an evening with the girls. BJ was scheduled to be the DD for myself and the Tiara Ditcher.
That meant we had free reign on the vino, we took full advantage even though we knew Old Stage was waiting for us Sunday morning.
We did not disappoint, met the Ditcher at the res promptly at 9, off on the bikes for the Boulder Peak course. Piece of cake, problems only really arose when I would stop and felt a wee bit dizzy. Then the run, not so easy but we toughed it out and completed a solid brick. Not that I ever would, but it’s nice to know I could party hearty the night before a race. Came home with lots of plans to garden and catch up on things that have been put on the back burner…all plans were shelved and I took a few naps, hung out with the family.
