stabilizing

Yes - stabilizer week, still feeling a bit sluggish and weighted but ready to recover this week.  Had a great workout on Saturday - 33 mile bike to a 5 mile run.  I ran strong off the bike and could have gone longer.  Still working with perceived effort for all my workouts and after some cadence testing with Craig on Friday, it shows that I’m right on the mark with reading my body.

Yesterday I had my long ride which I did on the trainer, took it easy since I was feeling some hamstring pain on bike Saturday.  Just spun it all out then headed down to Pearl St with my sister for a pre-birthday celebration.  We hit the Boulder Cafe for a glass of wine and some aps but after the guy across the bar picked his nose then ate it we promptly left for The Med, always a happy hour saving grace.   I indulged in a glass of their white sangria and lots of food samplings.  It was delicious and very nice of my sis to make the big trip from the city to Boulder to take me out.

BJ and I made our delicious buffalo tempe pizza then both passed out in the t.v. room for a lazy evening.  This morning the coffee is tasting better than normal.  I’ve decided to take today off as my body is still feeling beat, but beat in a good way.  Just need this week to recover and recharge.
