40 minute spin, 4 hours of massage
01.09.08
Had an easy spin yesterday morning followed by a fabulous day in my practice. 4 back to back deep sessions with absolutely wonderful clients. Really enjoyed my day yesterday although by client #4 (my hubby) I felt hungry and was quickly running out of steam. Being a massage therapist many times is like being an athlete, it doesn’t matter if I’m tired, hungry or sore, I need to be on top of my game and stopping is never an option. Unlike training for triathlon, I always love my job as a massage therapist, there has never been a time when I’ve thought, ‘why do I do this?’….I know why I do what I do, it’s because I’ve finally found my calling. Triathlon is my hobby but a hobby that allows me to be the best therapist I can for my clients, especially my athletes. I’m at a very peaceful place in my life, I’ve said it before and I’ll say a million more times, I’m a very lucky lady.
Heading to AZ on Friday….still feeling great, Sunday will be a memorable day. Looking forward to the fun and the pain!
